With this blog we will share our story and our journey to keep you updated with what is going on! We can't wait ourselves to see how this all unfolds! We could not be more excited to see what the Lord has in store for our family. We know that this is ultimately for His glory, and not our own.
The scripture that really spoke to us as we first began thinking about adoption almost 10 years ago:
Psalm 68:5-6
"A Father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families..."
That scripture really spoke to us and made me think of all the lonely children out there desiring a forever family and home. And, also gave us a heart for the moms and dads that had to give their children up.
We also cleary see in the scripture below that God calls us all to have a part in adoption and caring for people in some way. It is through this kind of outreach that I think we "SEE" what Jesus sees and can be his hands and feet.
James 1:27
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress..."
