A verse made clear to us as we found out about our daughter's health: Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy. Matthew 6:19-20 Our promise to God: We will show God's love to orphans for as long as we live on this earth. Thank you for this calling.

Latest Update on Lulu
As you can see, Lulu is getting so big! Every day she gets older and bigger my heart breaks that we are missing out on her, but at the same time I know she is in the best place for her at this time as we wait for her paper work to get started in China. The latest I have heard is that her paper work continues to sit in her original orphange. She gets to live at MBHOH due to her heart condition, but her orphange is who sets her paper work in motion. This was suppose to happen last May, but it has not even started making it's way through the system there in China. When it does, that is a 3-5 month process. We will continue to wait for her file. God has not directed us to pursue any other child or referral, so until he closes the door on Lulu we will wait. We are hoping the wait is not too long though because certain paper work will begin to expire and will have to be redone.
